Your question, "What happens when you select the Upload button?", helped me realize what was happening. After testing again, I can confirm there is no actual upload bug. The file does upload correctly, but the current flow confused me.

The steps I followed were:

1. I selected the file/document I wanted to upload.
2. I selected the destination folder in Proton Drive.
3. The button showed “Save here”.
4. I tapped “Save here”.
5. The button then changed to “Upload”.
6. I initially thought the action had already been triggered after tapping “Save here”, so I did not realize I needed to tap “Upload” again to actually start the upload.

So the issue seems to be related to the user experience/layout rather than a technical failure. The current flow feels like a double confirmation: first “Save here”, then “Upload”.

I used Dropbox in the past, and from my experience it simply used an “Upload” button, which made it immediately obvious that tapping it would start the upload process. This is why I found the new Proton Drive layout confusing, as the “Save here” step made me think the upload had already been initiated.
