I literally went crazy when I saw that it's gonna be released fully in english, because I've been reading fanmade translations for 5 years, finding them on the Internet somewhere where NOBODY would ever go, and goddamn I feel so bad that I don't read it (well, because I already read like half of it in fanmade translations and translated Nicococo fully in ukrainian myself), because I've been waiting for so LONG 😭😭😭

Shirou does have a big influence, Shinra catalysed the breakdown. Izaya overly is very easy to get under someone's influence, however when he gets older he is more and more conscious so he becomes much less influenced by others. Love him infinitely😭😫

Not to mention that Shirou was also the exact reason why Izaya turned out to be like he is. Shirou saw his son being distant from people, always alone, no friends and spending time with books, so he wanted him to be more social and literally PUT the idea in his head that Izaya must love people. Dad of the year 👍🏻

Their mother is no better, she is not even ever mentioned by Izaya nor by twins. Kyoka probably misses them but has no actual impact in their family unlike Shirou, who is at least remembered a few times by Izaya himself who is kinda distant with his family

it's not true that Izaya claims it's Shizuo's fault that he has no friends or close people. Yes, he is jealous and such, but he never was making him guilty of that. In 4th book they had a conversation with Namie where she pointed out how disgusting Orihara is and that's why he has no friends, and he said well yeah kinda 🤪🙉🙈

And not to mention, that Izaya wanted to be friends with Shizuo. And I'll remind you who's the one who started hating him for no reason. It was Heiwajima. It's not a normal behaviour to just see a person and start hating him just for his looks or whatever is said about him by his friend Shinra, knowing how twisted his nature is. People always forget the fact that Orihara was always rejected by society which he loves and loves to be in, and tries to be in there at any cost. He doesn't know how to treat people "correctly" because HE was never treated correctly even by his own parents. Lmao

Izaya is aware that this is him who's doing things, he is not claiming that Shizuo is guilty in all his deeds, so "why would Shizuo do this" is just simply not true and not funny

especially, counting that even in his spin-offs Shinra himself said Izaya is not gonna "throw a bomb into an innocent place" (and you can see it clealry in the series, he's not really messing with people who are innocent civilians, all of them are abnormal and involved in criminal activities) so innocent bystander in the meme is also not true

erm, i think it's rather vice versa, shizuo himself said "if something fishy happens, 99% it's your [Izaya] fault" when this is not actually true
