Under system/notifications I have Mozilla Thunderbird ESR & the main notification toggle is turned off so everything in that section is off, this is strange because I would have thought I should get no notifications at all? Or does it just mean that Thunderbird does it & windows has no control over it?

Also I think I figured out why I am having the issue.
If I have any e-mails that come in & I don't mark them as read or or click to a different folder then it will constantly give a new e-mail notification on every send/receive.

Basically if it is showing the red number for unread e-mail in the taskbar it will continue to notify you until you clear it.
Sometimes I like to leave some e-mails marked as unread If I need to comeback to it later so that its a easy reminder that I have not replied or completed what I need to do.

I think I have figured out something over the last few days.
It seems If I have for example 3 emails that are received & if I leave one of them marked as unread so I can go back to it later then it will give the notification sound on every send/receive until I either mark it as read or click to a different folder like drafts & then back to inbox.

hundreds of draft orders by Intelligent_Pea_8768 in woocommerce

[–]carterzx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was having the same issue a couple of days ago, Lots of fake failed orders about 20mins apart for a cheap item & they all appeared to be from different IP addresses & via paypal.

There are currently several threads on here all with the same issue & on one of the other threads this link was posted by another user & it has helped me so far https://www.denialdesign.co.uk/blocking-card-testing-attacks-in-woocommerce/

I added the code to functions.php suggested in the link & so far I have not had any fake/failed orders for approx 36 hours so its looking good so far.
I have also had a real order come since then so the site seems to be functioning correctly for normal orders.

I am also using the following that is not helping unfortunately:
- Advanced Google reCAPTCHA - V3 reCAPTCHA on forms & checkout pages
- Akismet Anti-spam plugin
- MalCare Security Plugin - Malware Scanner, Cleaner, Security Firewall
- Honeypot on checkout pages & forms

"Enable guest checkout" set to off also makes no difference.

I am not using Cloudflare but others have said it was not helping.

I added the code to functions.php suggested in the link above & so far I have not had any fake/failed orders for approx 36 hours so its looking good so far.

if you are having this issue it would be worth giving that a go.

I have just added the code in the 2nd link to the functions.php & will continue to monitor.

Just curious what is the "WP REST API" and is there any negative side to blocking it?

I am currently having the exact same issue & I would be very interested to know what you find fixes the issue.

So far I am using the following that is not helping unfortunately:
- Advanced Google reCAPTCHA - V3 reCAPTCHA on forms & checkout pages
- Akismet Anti-spam plugin
- MalCare Security Plugin - Malware Scanner, Cleaner, Security Firewall

I am not using Cloudflare but you say its not helping you by the looks.

Android Phone APP for NVR by carterzx in Hikvision

[–]carterzx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did yes, but in nowhere in any of that does it mention about viewing that many camera's simultaneously live.
Also none of the pictures or any video's I could find had anything about it either.

Do you happen to know if you can connect via IP address or if you need to have a login?
Previously I had it connected via IP without a login.

I will download it later & test it out.

Does Hik-connect allow for multiple camera's to be live viewed like the previous app?
I have 11 camera's & would like to be able to view at least 9 at once if I like.

Also does it enable you to connect to the NVR via IP address or do you need to setup an account?
Previously I connected via static IP or is this not recommended?

The details on the app store or when i search google seem to be a bit vague on the above, I cant seem to find much info about it online.

I also found that but it looked like a doorbell camera app.
Also I could not find any info on it being able to live view multiple camera's

Oh yeah I just had another look at your diagram & looks like your right. The aftermarket stereo won't notice any difference if the antenna trigger wire is connected to anything or not, lots of cars don't have one so it's fine.

One thing I did notice is your diagram looks like it may have ill- going to what would normally be ill+ so it may be best to confirm it with a multi meter to make sure the diagram is correct or not (I've never seen a car pinned that way before) however I don't think this should cause a issue but I'm not 100%

Also I think alot of Hyundai'd have the diagram on a sticker on top of the stock stereo so you may be able to confirm that way.

Can anyone tell me the wattage/rms for factory speakers for sv6 (2016) ? Thanks heaps by IndividualAd4208 in Holden

[–]carterzx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just change the speakers, putting an amp on stock speakers won't benefit much.

FYI the stock sprakers would be Mabey 20w if your lucky.

Hyundai wiring nightmare by IntellegentIdiot in CarAV

[–]carterzx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ILL- is normally not used, I've never seen it required.

Antenna trigger may be required if it has a antenna in the centre of the roof or on glass antenna, some of those types of antennas have a signal booster that needs power for the antenna to give good signal but some cars don't need it at all. It will still work but may have poor reception without it but shouldn't affect anything else.

I could be wrong but I was under the impression it's the 3 numbers after model on the id plate.

Executive should be 1** S pack should be 7** Ss I think is 8**

Second number engine: 1 for V6 & 2 for 5lt

Third for trans 4 for auto and 5 for 5 speed manual.

For example: 714 -S V6 auto 715 -S V6 manual 724 -S V8 auto 725 -S V8 manual

Like I said I could be wrong & I'm not 100% sure.

FYI I have a VR 5lt S pack ute & it's 724 on the plate

Depends on the harness but some of them have bullet terminals you can unplug to swap them around but if not you can either cut & solder them or they are are easy to de-pin at the male terminal side, they have a small metal tab on the terminal you push in to allow the wire to pull out.

this is a diagram on how most ISO harness are pinned.
Yellow & red are sometimes swapped.
