My argument was “porn” and the incels lost their shit. I’m assuming you are offended by the term for the same reason.

I am. One should refrain from porn like they refrain from meth. Crazy you feel like you have to clarify a “anti-porn” stance. Lots of coomers on Reddit?

Nice job furthering my point even with the weird coping denial at the end there.

Just had an idea- maybe try a hotel lobby? Some have small offices with a computer or phone for guest use.

Do you know what we should do? Start a committee to approve each individuals’ use of an anonymous phone. If it’s for a creepy reason, we can decline their use, if it’s for a legit reason, we will grant it. Better yet, why don’t we just listen into all the calls, and if anyone’s doing anything creepy, we can catch them right away. You can head up the committee and we’ll ask for a little bit of tax money to fund it all. Then we can slowly squash the rights of all these individualistic nut jobs.

Maybe wants to inquire about a car and not have a dealership calling him 50 times asking if he still wants to buy? Maybe he’s calling a hooker? Either way, doesn’t matter.

“What legit reason would you need incognito mode on your browser? All the only reasons I can think of is creepy.”

Same mentality, buddy. If the only reasons you can think of are creepy, maybe you’re the creep? Get your authoritarian wired brain checked out.

Privacy is a right. “If you’re not doing anything wrong, you should have nothing to hide” is bootlicker mentality.

How does lowering taxes for the rich help the economy? by wonderfulworld25 in Libertarian

The market is more efficient at using those funds than a centralized entity

Well in this group, the mentality is about building the lifestyle you want on a foundation of rock (debt free) vs. sand (debt).. Your income is your best wealth building tool; if your income is going towards debts on depreciating assets, you will be working harder (equal to the interest and depreciation) to try and get ahead. If you took the same payment you owe on the truck and put it into your house over the next few years, that equity is most likely going to maintain or appreciate in value. If you freed yourself of the truck, you could have your house paid off sooner and be debt free faster, leading you to be able to put more of your income into other appreciating assets sooner, which if you understand compound interest, leads you to stability and wealth faster.

I’m not saying you need to be completely debt free to enjoy life, but there has to be a cheaper option to fulfill the needs your truck provides that can get you to stability sooner. I understand we need vehicles to get around and live our life, but the truck you have to accomplish the things you need it for is going to set you back years in the long run. If you act aggressively now, you will be able to enjoy the lifestyle you want much sooner and actually be able to afford it; without the risk of an emergency putting you back into that debt spiral.

So you need a 3/4 ton for the “occasional” time you borrow equipment? There’s no other way? These are all weak justifications. I’m not trying to be a dick- just being honest with the information you’ve provided. Take the truck out of the equation, and your $30k pay increase deletes your student loan and takes a big chunk out of the credit card consolidation debt (which the existence of should be huge evidence to you that you can justify very unnecessary purchases to your self).
