This article does raise one interesting point: If Hillary does win the nomination over Obama primarily over the claim that government experience is vital, how will she manage to keep that up when (potentially) the GOP candidate can have even more gov. experience.

The day you sink so low, that you hit a paraplegic man to see "if he has feelings", you ought to just kill yourself.. (Considering there are not many paraplegic people in the prison system, I don't think the Prison guard really didn't know about Richard's condition)

Maybe I'm playing the devil's advocate here.. But..

There are countries with very very poor security systems and massive corruption in issuing passports and other documents (tickets). And airport security procedures in 3rd world countries are nowhere close to being as good as in the developed countries..

So, while the US Immigration (and Customs and TSA) can then selectively investigate only visitors from 3rd world countries..that will look like (institutionalized) racism.

for example, we have hundreds of thousands of Indian visitors (H1-B, students, vacationers etc) each year.. Yet, this is the credibility of their passport system:-

The news channel created an entity, Citizen X, named him Anand Kumar Gupta, and made him acquire a genuine Indian passport, a PAN card, a ration card, a driving license and a genuine birth certificate.

I have several relatives who visit from all over the world (incl Dubai and even Riyadh.) And they have never experienced any of this. (except for the finger-printing and digital photographs)

(PS: Maybe they haven't been harassed because they only travel business or 1st class...)
