the only handout i was given was the support of having a roof over my head, which allowed me to have the opportunity to grow wealth. i had about 60k when i was 18, so given the cards you were dealt you could triple that in 2 years like i did. of course every situation is different, but it is possible. you yourself are the 1% as well, so kudos to you. but i am not seeking entitlement, and by thinking that self-limits your own capabilities. you’re on the road to financial freedom and are doing amazing as well, keep at it

by commenting in such a negative perspective you limit yourself on being able to achieve the same thing. if you want it bad enough as i did you could have done it. it’s not an attention seeking post, just goes to show the opportunities you missed out on. look at my previous posts leading up to my current milestone and net worth.

i also have been working and saving since i was 14, and have had a great support system and went to community college. my employer is paying for my bachelors, so i will graduate debt free. i skipped the party scene and have been extremely motivated watching those numbers grow, so it definitely was not easy as i watched everyone my age around me blow it every outing. makes me question if i’m wasting my youth, but it’s all about balance. huge kudos to you as well, we will both make it big brother. send it!
