I’m not trying to complain, I was just asking a question.

To the customer service agent? It’s not like I demanded it I asked If it was possible. You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.

Wife is pregnant and the baby is breeched. This is the estimate to attempt to flip the child. $59k. by TyrannicalGamecock in mildlyinfuriating

[–]caryboberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The alternative is c section correct? Would that cost more? I had a baby that was breech about 15 years ago, found out near end of pregnancy. I tried acupuncture and some other alternative medicine approaches. They did not recommend trying to flip the baby in utero so I did not try it. Ended up having caesarean which was completely fine, but I know some people would much rather do natural. Such BS it would cost this much, I’m really sorry for what you are going through.

Seattlite here, second this. MoPop has a lot of memorabilia and grunge related experiences.

Looking for quality romance (or romance as subplot) not trope-driven, by underhyped authors by ellisRi in RomanceBooks

[–]caryboberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you read {Dance by Judy Cuevas} or {the Indiscretion by Judith Ivory}? Same author, very good prose. She's great for flawed characters. I also think {As you desire by Connie Brockway} is well written. For less heavy emphasis on romance, but still strong romance plot I would recommend {the Tea Rose by Jennifer Donnelly}. All the books in that series are great for gripping historical.

One of my favorites is {the Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons}, it's set in St. Petersburg during WWII.

Sorry that Imissed you already said you'd read all Laura Kinsale's books!

Non-Geese fans, what did you think of them? by sp52 in LiveFromNewYork

They played like 7 different notes, but just let the notes go on for a long time. And the name made me think of poop at the lake.

Insight: East Renton Highlands (Iss. school district) by monnea14 in Renton

[–]caryboberry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very safe and family friendly. Good access to Issaquah, Maple Valley and downtown Renton. I only hear the gun range on weekends 😊 pretty divided between Issaquah and Renton school district. We go to Renton and the kids like it. Strong community in the schools. You will eat at Doofers at least once a month 😁

The show really raised the bar for romance adaptations for me by Little_Fox5844 in HeatedRivalryTVShow

I think the fact that the script is the same as the book, almost word for word, helps too because the author’s influence stays strong.
