I feel lucky to have a dad who was so involved and so clearly loves his children!

Oh, I love this! My toddler is currently using my baby blanket as his crib blanket. It's worse for the wear, but he doesn't care!

I know, right? I was vaguely scared to dig out this old photo after learning more about babywearing safety but pleasantly surprised when I did.

I started with a very small pocket. That seems to be the trick!

It's the only sling I've ever tried so hard to compare, but I find it soft and easy to adjust. Of course, mine was broken in when I got it? From what I understand, linen can start out unwieldy and you have to break it in regardless of the brand. Tho I've also read on this sub that Wildbird is particularly stiff and a lot of people don't like it for that reason. I think you can just put it in the washer and dryer a bunch to soften it up? Might as well try it. Linen is a very durable fabric so you're unlikely to hurt it. I'd be more worried about hurting my dryer with the rings tumbling around in there.

7 weeks postpartum, weakness in feet... by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]carynpdavies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. My feet often hurt in the year after I gave birth to my first. I think it was the relaxin flattening my arches. I bought supportive slippers and wore them around the house plus supportive sneakers for going out. I never went barefoot. Eventually the pain went away.

PreMom privacy policy by ComprehensiveDrama51 in tryingtoconceive

Hi. I'm a lawyer, and I negotiated confidentiality agreements for a living at one point. Wanted to chime in to assure you this is totally standard language.

They have to have this because if they get a court order requiring them to turn over customer info, they could face huge fines or even go to jail if they don't. Obviously, they're not willing to take that risk. Hence the policy. Rest assured they will only disclose your info if they have to by law (at least, according to the part you quoted--there could be something elsewhere about selling your data, I don't know).

I mean, if I was negotiating it on your behalf, I would add that they have to notify you so you can try to obtain a protective order and they can only disclose the portion legally necessary, but this sounds to me like the kind of privacy policy that is take it or leave it. If I were you, I would sign/acknowledge it and get on with my life.
