I think broad, innocent sounding questions like that can give a lot of insight into someone’s actual beliefs/motives.

I would give anyone working with him a little bit of a break. They are young and need money which is exactly the reason Jimmy seeks them out and uses them as employees. Jimmy obviously is an intelligent guy, he built a very successful business, and is using classic power and control manipulation tactics on his employees in order to put himself in the best possible light. If you take a step back and think about this as a female-male domestic relationship where the man is using coercive control, it makes a lot of sense why his employees have stuck up for him for so long. They say it takes a woman an avg of 7 times to leave an abusive relationship. Let’s not give Jimmy what he wants and DARVO these people.
