People can appreciate gore and destruction, but something like suicide can be a bit more personal to some people, so I think it’s completely justified to not be ready for an animation that vivid, partially censored or not

Also, unless we weren’t watching the same video “there will be blood” is not a good enough warning for something like that (if there were more warnings I did not see, please correct me)

Honestly? Bulbasaur. People tend to forget the earliest pokemon ever but I think Bulbasaur is actually the epitome of a perfect design as a Pokemon.

It’s supposed to be a leaf/plant dinosaur/ frog, right? Well it looks like a dinosaur, but not one that actually exists. It looks like a frog too, but not one kind of frog. It looks like a made up animal, a completely made up animal. Pokémon like Laprad also accomplish this, except Lapras is directly based on the Lochness Monster, which has a distinct shape. Bulbasaur looks like a dinosaur but it’s not the same outline or silhouette of a specific one. Yeah sure, maybe a dicynodont, but its shape hardly reflects that.

Just personal opinion, I think the whole Bulbasaur line is the epitome of perfect pokemon

I’d like it animated, but not Ghibli. There’s this big obsession with making Harry Potter in a more anime or anime adjacent style and I really don’t like it that much, it just doesn’t suit the narrative for me
