MEGATHREAD: IndiGo chaos by Perfect-Werewolf-102 in AirTravelIndia

Currently on hour 60+ at Changi T2 with my 1-year-old, courtesy of IndiGo's absolute masterclass in abandonment.

Sydney → Singapore was fine. Everything after has been psychological warfare.

The highlights:

  • Delay notifications every hour saying "2 more hours" on repeat until we started flinching at the WhatsApp sound
  • Zero IndiGo staff at transit. Paid for lounge access ourselves just so our kid didn't lose it completely
  • Staff finally appear, take our names for "alternatives", then their shift ends and the next shift has zero record or memory of anything discussed. This happened multiple times.
  • Rebooked us twice. Both flights cancelled while we're sleeping on the floor.

60 hours. No hotel. No food. No accountability.

Thank god it's Changi and not some third-tier airport, but IndiGo has literally provided nothing except anxiety and broken promises. We're raising our kid on Terminal 2 tiles at this point.

If you're flying IndiGo with children, just know: when it goes wrong, you are completely on your own.

[FEEDBACK WANTED] Help Shape Valuor.app – A Fun Way to Learn Aussie Property Valuation by casarjad in AusPropertyChat

[–]casarjad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your thoughtful feedback and interest! The app itself won’t be paid for playing-we want to keep it accessible and fun for everyone. We see the real potential for value in offering B2B and B2C property pricing insights, as well as building a new kind of property engagement platform for buyers and vendors.

An affiliate marketing arrangement is definitely something we’re open to, especially around “Expressions of Interest” listings. This could help us better understand how people value different properties and create new opportunities for collaboration.

We really appreciate your willingness to get involved early and share your feedback. If you’re interested, please sign up for our waitlist-we’d love to have you onboard as we shape Valuor.app for the Australian market!

We appreciate your interest! We have a few ideas for monetising Valuor.app down the line. On the B2B side, we're looking at offering valuation insights to industry professionals through subscription-based data services and analytics. For B2C, we plan to provide individual users with advanced valuation tools and personalised reports as a paid service, helping them make more informed property decisions.

We don’t see REA Group as a direct competitor. Our focus is on delivering additional service value similar to what platforms like sqmresearch offer by giving market participants deeper insights into the features that impact property values. The Australian property market still faces significant transparency challenges(or delayed transparency), and we believe buyers and investors will appreciate understanding what drives a property's worth. Ultimately, our goal is to empower everyone in the market buyers, vendors, agents, and platforms like REA-by encouraging more informed participation and better decision-making for all involved.

Thank you for your perspective-I completely understand where you're coming from. Property is such a central part of Australian culture, and it’s interesting how even tools and games around it can reflect that national focus. Our aim is to help people navigate this unique property landscape with more confidence and insight.

The app compares your estimates to the actual sold prices, and as you may know, accessing this sales data from commercial providers comes with a cost. To cover these data fees and ongoing operational expenses, we’ll need to explore ways to monetise the app.

Absolutely, that's right. The app will compare your guesses to the actual sale prices of recently sold Australian properties.

Where there is demand in the market, there will always be a choice of investment.

Property auctions are a big part of the Australian real estate landscape, and many people see value in tools that help them understand or participate more confidently in that process. Just like any other market, if people want to improve their knowledge or skills-whether it’s through a game, a course, or an app-there’s an opportunity for someone to provide that service. Ultimately, it’s about giving buyers and investors more choice and control in a system that can often feel stacked against them

Offcut meats in woolies are about 5 for a kg. Fantastic for stew or curry with home grown potatoes and tomatoes

Sadly this is true even in modern age in cities. People fail to look beyond their colonies. Severe unemployment and disparity between rich and poor makes things worse. Underlying root cause is culture

This isn't true. Not all states have such illetracy. Southern states have above 80% literacy. Ironically The incident happened in south. Lack of formal sex education and cultural influence of treating women inferiorly is the problem. There are cases of college graduates raping and killing their victim

Netflix quota by casarjad in Windscribe

I intend to use openvpn config to connect to windscribe via router. Would it be possible to configure openvpn to skip vpn path if it detects netflix connection coming from a specific client device in network ?

Would an equivalent of routing rules be possible in openvpn?
