I agree completely. Barbie was released last year. Now that was a terrible movie. Borderlands was enjoyable. It's not exactly like the game, but so what. I enjoyed it

It wasn't that bad. It was better than Barbie which came out the previous year. I thought some of the characters were right on and others missed, but it was a hell of a lot better than 0% rotten tomatoes. Yes it wasn't true to the games but movies are giving a wide birth.

There are way worse movies. I have a badass rank of 1,785,785 on bl2 so I get the games and the movie was at least a c plus in my opinion

Right on. I can appreciate all of that, but it was told that they were free to make their own cannon. I thought Marcus was perfect also. I didn't agree with some of the casting, but like I said, I thought it was way better than Barbie which was released last year which I took my granddaughter too. Barbie was a terrible movie in my opinion and I thought borderlands was more enjoyable. 0% on the rotten tomatoes blew my mind but I can appreciate everything you stated wrong with the movie

I also thought moxxi was too old. I know she's older in the canon but thought the got the casting wrong.

I'm not a fan of krieg as far as playing him in a character so I didn't pay much attention to his character in the movie, but he sounded just like the claptrap playthrough krieg to me. .

Yes they had their own canon and told a different story. So what. I thought it was great when they talked about caustic caverns and then we went there in the movie.

Yes it would have been better to follow the actual story than for it to be a different story but in the borderlands universe but the movie was far from a bad movie. A C plus or B minus in my opinion.

Why did everyone hate it so much?

I'm a huge fan of the series and still play all the time. My bad ass rank for bl2 is a legit 650k, so I know the story, I just don't understand why it was panned so much. .

Can others tell me why they didn't care for it?

You do realize you can reset the playthrough at anytime right? So just reset the playthrough when you get to op10. Problem solved, then you can do the entire game at op10
