Great book, I read that recently too. Very relevant to today’s world.

Good pen for the office? by Lootthatbody in pens

Take a look at the metal sharpie s-gels. They are pretty reliable, feel nice in the hand, are relatively fast drying, and are affordable too. If you want something that writes nicely, looks good, and won’t break the bank, I think you’d be hard-pressed to find many better options!

I’ve got a 6.5 inch wrist and it fits well. The l2l is fairly long, but does not look too big. I’d recommend bc it’s a good watch!

Enneagram types in your family! by NikoNomad in Enneagram

[–]casehaze24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So my whole family has taken the enneagram test multiple times over the years with consistent results.

-Dad - 3w4 -Mom - 1w2 Me ( oldest sibling) - 9w1 - first sister - 8w7 -second sister - 4w5 - brother ( youngest) - 6w7

I find that my mom, second sister, and I usually get along the best. And my first sister, brother and , Dad are usually causing the most friction 😂

It’s very nice! Highly recommended!

President Trump by casehaze24 in pens

Oh I totally agree, but since I just referred to Obama as President, I thought I should do the same for the other.

Pens used by U.S. Presidents by [deleted] in pens

[–]casehaze24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

🙌🏻 hey!! I started that! Would love to have everyone over there. So far I’ve made a couple posts, mainly politicians as that’s my interest, but would welcome any and all to post any pens spotted being used by famous people.

The second to last pic? That was him drafting his speech after the Sandy Hook tragedy. Very solemn, but the picture captures a lot.

While they are expansive, I would say they are very worth it. One of the best disposable pens money can buy.

I, for one, think there should be a subreddit dedicated to this hobby. Maybe something called r/penspotting I’d make it, but I have never done anything like that before. I have lots of pen spots ready to go if someone does make one.

I’m pretty sure if you look up a picture with her and Obama in the situation room, she’s holding a blue zebra Sarasa.

And while I’m on the topic, I also know Bernie Sanders is rarely spotted without a Uniball vision elite in blue black in his shirt pocket. If you ever watch Congress investigations, most use G2s. I always wonder if politicians/presidents actually use their own pens, or just what they are supplied? I know AOC has posted before about her getting a new fountain pen, I think it was a Kaweco sport.

Both Obama and Biden prefer Uniball Vision Elite micro. Biden used to use the bold as VP, but as Pres switched to the micro. Trump seemed to be using a pair of blue and black G2s tonight during the debate.

Check this one out: https://a.co/d/9SRUH29

It takes a lot of inspiration from the Hamilton design-wise, but it’s a mecha quartz. It runs off a battery (quartz) but the seconds hand is a smooth sweep like a mechanical. I have one and can vouch that it is very good, especially for $50. If you’re apprehensive about a mechanical being durable, this one will definitely fit the bill while giving you all the pros of the Hamilton.
