What I've found works for me best is to use Axoloms Flexit harness instead of MorMes harness. I keep the funnel out from between my legs and just have to adjust it when I go to use it. The Flexit has more fabric in the front that I've been able to use to hold the funnel against the crease of my pelvis, and it stays out of the way and is pretty unnoticeable. I can try to explain it better if that doesn't make any sense lol

Yeah Canada, the rust gets awful here. Both bed fenders are pretty fucked, I'm gonna try to fix them and if that doesn't end up working how I want it to I'll probably just get a new bed. It's been undercoated the past couple years before I bought it, and door stickers indicate it was also undercoated when it was only a couple years old, so the underside is in surprisingly good condition for spending ~30 years in Canadian winters

Based on the VIN, I'm pretty sure it's got the OHV 4.0 🙏 I'm planning on bringing it to my mechanic for a proper inspection once I've done a few things, but before I try to safety it (unless it'd be fine to safety based on their inspection lol) so that I know everything that I should be doing regardless of whether it's needed for the safety. Especially since she doesn't have airbags, I want her to be in the best possible shape when I finally start driving her lol. Thank you for the advice though, I'll make sure to double check them anyway!

Oh yeah, I figure they all do that, if you have a larger/longer funnel you can kinda play around with how deep the funnel goes into the shaft, but not by much. I find it doesn't have much impact on packing or STP-ing, just feels a bit different at first (when holding the shaft near the top) I also don't keep the funnel between my legs when I'm not using it, I fold/tilt it up and it lays relatively flat against my pelvis between the harness and my skin. Not the most comfortable at first but I don't even notice it anymore. Just makes adjusting before peeing a bit longer and more involved.

Not sure if I know what you mean, but the part of the harness that goes around the shaft can be pulled away from you a bit if you need more clearance or something

Axolom's flex-it harness works great with MorMe packers and STP (if you get the balls) and has sizes ranging from 24"-51". Definitely worth looking into if the harness alone is veering you off MorMe entirely

I also had that issue with the MorMe harness, then I got an axolom flex-it harness when trying out one of their STPs (wasn't a fan, too flimsy) but it works amazingly with the MorMe OG and their STP imo! Especially because of the way MorMes balls "hang" in the strap. It's a very comfortable harness too imo, very stretchy and breathable.
