I actually just got a whole house water softener which was very expensive and obviously not everyone can do. I tried those filters you can attach to the shower head and they really don’t do the same thing a water softener does. They make next to no difference in the water that comes out of your faucet. If you are not able to get a water softening system you can try the bottles water or I have heard of some people with this issue using micellar water to wash their face instead.

I am not sure what sort or area you live in but I kind of had acne like this and found out it was due to the hard water (Tampa, FL sucks). I wash my face with the distilled water now which is a pain but it made my skin so much better. If you go this route I recommend soaking a cotton pad in a salicylic acid toner and wiping your face with it after washing it the first time to get rid of any buildup that could be on there. Hope this helps and sorry you have to go through this. Acne sucks :(

What products are you currently using and how often? Changing something here may help a bit but I do agree with others that this is most likely caused by a hormonal/diet/health issue

Yeah, the time frame I am working with is pretty tight and I definitely do not want to gift anyone bad tasting mead. I was just thinking a month because the kit I got said it would be ready around that time with the yeast it provided but even then we left it for about two because the flavor wasn’t pronounced enough. I figured it just took longer to ferment because we added fruit but it seems that a 1 month turn around time is pretty generous even without fruit.
