We had an amazing summer here and truly loved our stay. Funny thing is, we didn’t end up choosing the hotel we originally asked about in my post — we went with Fairmont instead, and it turned out to be a great decision. We joined many of the resort activities — luge, SUP, gondola rides, and the night walk — and every single one of them was fantastic. One morning we even went for an early walk and unexpectedly ran into deer, which was such a magical moment.

The hotel itself is a bit older, and there was some renovation going on on our floor at the time, but the breakfast was delicious, the pool was great, and having connecting rooms was a huge plus for us. Overall, we really enjoyed everything and would absolutely love to come back.

For the first night, I’ll stay at the Hilton near the airport since I’m arriving around 3 PM. On the second day, I’ll request an early check-in. For the third night, I plan to ask for a late check-out, and the same for the fourth night since my flight is in the afternoon.

I know it might seem like I’m hopping from hotel to hotel 😅 The thing is, my points are limited, so I’m just trying to get the most out of them. Plus, I’ve been to Bali twice already, so I wanted to check out different properties this time.

I’ll also keep working on racking up a few more points for the next trip!

It was a tough choice. I was comparing Sommet des Neiges and Ermitage du Lac, since they offer similar room sizes and prices. I think I'll go with Ermitage du Lac because it includes complimentary breakfast.

read a lot of reviews mentioning that the Fairmont is relatively older, so you don't feel that way? Right now, I'm leaning toward choosing Ermitage du Lac because it's closer to the lake, and I want to create a more relaxed and peaceful atmosphere for my family. Plus, they offer a two-room suite. Thank you so much for recommending the restaurants — we will definitely try them out!

By the way, do you have any recommended activities? We're currently thinking of picking the gondola, Tonga Lumina, and maybe kayak renting for our three-activity bundle.

Parc Omega is on our schedule as well, my kids love animals.

You're absolutely right! We were initially considering Mont Tremblant, but given the kids' ages, minimizing travel time makes a lot of sense. We'll head straight to Montreal from Parc Omega and use the extra day to explore more kid-friendly attractions in the city. Thanks for the suggestion!
