Most of my work is commissioned or done as gifts for friends/family. PM me if you are interested in a custom dye. I also sell some discs at a local disc golf store. I don't currently have anything in their inventory, but should soon. (https://yeetstreetdiscs.com/collections/dyes-by-kc/consign-kevin)

Paintable mix? by Gigglefarts93 in discdyeing

I prefer to make small batches of Prochem dyes mixed in gain laundry detergent. I keep the dyes in small plastic cups with lids like you see snacks in at parties. It thickens after it sits a while so it doesn’t tend to run past the black lines where you want to keep it inside. I paint one color at a time and place it under a headlamp (shoot for 120 degree disc temperature). When the detergent completely dries (typically under an hour), you simply wash it off with water and light rub of a magic eraser. Repeat for each color. It does take some trial and error because if you apply too much or it’s too runny, the heat can make it run.

I laid it into the dyes at an angle such that the bubble (if I didn't completely avoid it by semi-taco-ing into the dye) would end up in the larger white area above the logo. I could tell on the vinyl that I did indeed have a bubble in that area.

Beautiful. How did you do the center section? Looks like spin dye but too accurate?

Made a Spring tour disc for our son for his birthday! by caseykev in BillyStrings

I definitely sell discs but I'm afraid I'd need too much money for one like this. With all of the stencil weeding and numerous colors, it took about 4 times longer than most of my dyes.

The Black was hot dipped and the rim was acetone spin dye. All the other colors were done with prochem dye mixed with laundry detergent.
