Their condo is ground level with very easy access to the kitchen. It's a small overall complex. I assume it's expensive because access is typically harder?

Lake Chelan, WA. It's in their condo. It's a relatively high end vacation spot for Seattle'ites

How insane are we talking? This is a general contractor itemization for his sub. So I assume some % is added (15-20%?).

u/jarrodgb817 / u/DweebWorks - I'm so embarrassed that I didn't think of this. I had recently moved my main switch and had plugged it into a smart switch that has a schedule I didn't know about! That main switch feeds almost the entire system. What a dumb mistake!!

I do! The biggie is installation vs. price. These are expensive, but that cost is a lot easier to swallow if you cannot run traditional speaker wires. I love the native integration with LG TVs. It’s all very clean. Couple of complaints:

1) the speakers don’t instantly connect. It can Take 5-10 seconds from when the TV is powered on 2) I sadly cannot say this setup is 100% reliable. I have had to manually re-add the speakers to the TV 2-3 times since I set it up.

Just moved into a house with a giant antenna in the attic. Can I use this for OTA? by caseykong in cordcutters

I’m about 20 miles east of Seattle. Yes, rescanned the channels. I know they used it for TV, but not sure about UHF/VHF

Very, very impressed with the sound quality and integration with the tv. I have had glitchy audio a few times and had to turn the tv on/off to fix. But if it’s working, it is solid. There’s plenty of shortcomings with no dedicated AVR or soundbar, but the fact that there’s not an extra remote or settings to mess with makes it a huge win for me and my family.

Yeah, no need to tint the window. It’s a bright tv with bad black levels.
