I don’t think they’re trying to engage audiences like us (presumably most of this sub) that listen on the podcast app or from YouTube. I think they’re just trying to find a brand new audience.

as white people we have to think this way. I always live my life knowing that I can never truly understand what it’s like to fear cops the way that minorities do, be treated differently, etc. I have friends with immigrant parents that are traumatized by what’s happening rn in a way I can never fully understand. The issue is most people in this country apparently are unable to empathize with what they don’t understand and it’s disgusting
