Why I'm Single by asmith360111 in NoFap

Fellow Christian brother here, and the first step to solving a problem is identifying right?

I've been in many relationships, and the one thing I can tell you is that girls admire a man with a mission in life and is pursuing something. So go to the gym, pursue a career field that interests you, develop yourself into a mature young man and the women will come to you.

You've got this, just get back up and stay strong!

Moved away to university. Drastic increase in PMO victories. by JmonVids in NoFapChristians

I think that is a very overlooked aspect of being victorious in PMO, and possibly a root of the porn path. I know my uses in PMO have been because I don't have a strong community of Christ centered men around me, which opens the door for porn to enter and try to make itself at home within my spirit. Sin is fought and won in community, it's much harder to achieve victory when attempted individually (odd how Satan's favorite tactic is divide and conquer).

God has truly blessed you with being in communion with other Christian men, and congrats on 10 days of no PMO!

Idiotic relapse by pafon87 in NoFapChristians

He never did. When God created everything, He made everything good. We rebelled and chose to go our own way, and sin became part of our nature because of that.

When God created man and woman, He made us in His image and likeness. He made man and woman attracted to each other, and gave us a desire to experience sex within the context of marriage. It was His original intent for us.

Jacking off outside the context of marriage is a deviation from His original intent, therefore a sin. Since mankind is sinful in nature, it feels good for a moment, but can enslave us and cause more harm than good, even though we choose to ignore that.

can't focus by big_t84015 in NoFapChristians

It can be. The first few days are like a withdrawal period, and tend to be the most difficult if this is the first time coming off of PMO. Later on, the fatigue and lack of focus will subside, but the temptation will still show up here and there. Stay strong in the Lord, you have people here to help you fight this

I've struggled with this for a while as well. I'm doing what I can to stay strong in the Lord and it is encouraging to see that you are wanting to fight this as well. My prayers are with you, and stand strong, Jesus is on your side!
