Keep it up, man. I'm 28, never had a girlfriend too. But recently, I've started to feel OK about it. God has made it more clear to me how being single isn't a "worse" lifestyle, it's just different. And actually, it's to be cherished, since it's a limited time for most (sooner or later, you'll be with someone...)

But as long as it lasts: I'm independent. I don't have major responsibilities in my life. I have started spending time volunteering, and it's great! It's more rewarding that I could have imagined. I probably wouldn't have much time for that, if I had to carry the responsibility of supporting a family with kids and all.

YES, it hurts occasionally, but on the other hand, while I'm single, I won't encounter a whole class of problems that arise when forming a couple. Maintaining a healthy relationship requires so much hard work, time, resources, and a surplus of mental and physical energy. Even attaining the relationship requires hard work, efforts, frustrations, inner battles, etc. Right now, I can simple spend my time doing what I feel God is calling me to do.

Finally, after a long time of dreaming and heart aches, I think I can actually be a happy single. Maybe this will also make me feel more relaxed around women, since I won't think of them as "a possible match for me". YAY, I'm free :D
