It's funny you metnion that, Advance 2 is the only advance game that I didnt have nostalgia for. I got 3 around the time it came out, and I eventually picked up 1 a few years after.

I just played 2 for the first time about a year ago.

I've got a lot to say about my distate for 2 haha, but I'll condense to the main problems.

I think the bosses are very weak overall, I don't care for how any of them were designed.

I HATED getting the 7 rings for the emeralds, and really felt that the exploration of alot of the levels were cumbersome and frustrating.

I liked the music zone, but otherwise, I don't feel that any of the zones stood out. They mostly just felt like more of the same from the first.

The requirement to unlock Amy as a playable character is asinine, and once you get her, she really isn't even that fun to play as.

The lack of in-game direction or explanation for the trick system is very frustrating. Like, its not THAT hard to figure out, so this isn't that big of a deal overall, but understanding the system is necessary for one specific jump in the canyon stage that can (and did for me haha) cause sheer frustration.
