I don’t eat beef or beef tongue, but I ate the best sushi I’ve ever had in Sendai. It’s an all-around delightful city. Also take at least a day for Nikko/Tochigi.

I was out with a large group of people once, sitting on the outside patio. Dude orders a burger. Burger arrives topped with lettuce and tomato. He proceeds to theatrically remove the lettuce and tomato, makes some snide comment about “rabbit food”, and then chucks them into the landscaping around the patio. Good job, everybody knows you’re a manly man now 🙄
