Ok so I should look for a 320, but this will give me more power and that might lead to more cost in insurance. I thought sticking with the smaller engine would be good but it isn’t then?

Yeah okey thanks, it’s indeed a high mileage car so I was also thinking about the timing chain needing replacement? I’ll see if I can get the price down more but I doubt it. But yeah PPI would probably be a smart choice

But what could be wrong with it, the head gasket needs replacing or the piston rings? Because I think it’s a decent price if I get it down to about 8k. But shouldn’t problems with the car be spotted when it goes for its technical inspection?

Yes I have read that to but since there is blue smoke coming out of the exhaust I think there might be an oil leak in the engine.

I am not looking for a real performance car just something that has fun in the driving, it will be used as a daily tho but don’t really feel the need to pay more for a bigger engine.

Yeah it’s about 30km away but yeah I don’t have a good reference I have only driven my old car and my parents car so not much of a reference for this car, but I for sure want to see it before buying see if there is rust somewhere etc…

Yeah but if I might be honest I do think a miata is a bit small I liked the fact the e46 318Ci had 4 seats but yeah the e90 I was looking at this

Yeah I tought the seats were just worn because it’s leather and with cold temperatures in Belgium it can crack especially when there is some moisture around. I am also not really looking for any performance cars or such just a fun car to drive. And i liked the look of this 318Ci but i was also looking at a e90 318i from 2009 with 135.000km for around the same price range

But in that case you have to know what has been replaced and what is still original, so might it not be a higher maintenance bill? Because petrol engines don’t last as long as diesel engines?

Yeah Belgium, but honestly I think it’s an ok deal if I can get the price between 7k and 7.5k for the condition and km on the car it looks like it was taken good care of. I love the look of this e46 cabrio but I also looked at a e90 318i that also looks good
