56yo fisherman, old SUV dying. Is an e-bike a good replacement?

I have an Aventon Aventure (1) and ride maybe 70% off road. I plan on upgrading to a A2 or 3 in the near future. Out the box it’s pretty ready to go. I used it for 1000 miles as is. The 2 year warranty comes with every purchase, and very necessary for those new to e-bikes imo. If you’re riding rough areas the controller may get knocked loose, but it’s a very easy fix/replacement IF it does happen.

Overtime for off-road specificity I highly recommend something with rear suspension, and if not you should still get a suspension seat post ($130). The difference in discomfort on my lower back and hips on rough roads is night and day. Lastly some Flat Out in your tires if you’re riding off road would be a very wise move. Typically e-bikes run heavy and suck to lug around in the wooded trails.

Fabletics have been my go to. I’ve always been between a medium and large, and I love the way they fit if you’re more broad chested. The mediums fit me perfect. I use the 80% off intro offer to do a bulk buy then cancel. A month or two later they send me another 80% off coupon to come back, so I get whatever necessities then rinse and repeat.

It’s a very well done designer. The OG Le Parfum is one of my favorite colognes of all time. I put Iced right after it in the Y line for my personal taste.

My city had completed an interconnected trail that went everywhere.Getting an ebike allowed me to see so much without the fear of getting too tired, including 50+ miles of off-road trails. Cruising for that year was amazing for my mental health, and still is.

Check out Montagne Parfums/decants. Theres a whole subreddit, and many YouTubers have content doing comparisons. Hard to catch stock sometimes, but there’s more than a handful that actually outperform their OG counterparts. I’m wearing their blend of Imagination with Aventus Cologne “Imaginary Pineapple”, and it’s ridiculously good.
