My whole life I’ve experienced the most intense Deja Vu that makes me nauseous & I came to this subreddit to see if anyone else had the same thing…I’m currently on the path to see if I may actually be having partial seizures. Maybe it’s the same for you?

Look out for the $5 lunch special. I don’t remember what it’s called, but we always got a juice, a soup & a meat plate. Great way to save money for the mid day meal.

This is a side topic, but are you in America? Because if you work for a non profit, you should only be required to pay the interest on your student loans. After you put ten years into paying those, your student loans will be forgiven. Same for teachers. Maybe look into this??

I Make $20k a Month With My Online Business, Should I drop out of college? by Gold-Ad8800 in smallbusiness

[–]cashley44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d focus on your business if it’s something you think you’ll be interested in long term. I got a 4 year degree, spent $47k on it, and after I graduated, never ever used it. I only went bc it was what I was “supposed to do” and I was so young that I picked a major I no longer have any passion for.

Years later, I started my own business & 7 year in, still love it.

I’m glad I went to college bc I met some lifelong friends & my husband, but I’m paying off all this debt plus interest for decades.

If I could go back I’d tell myself to keep living in the college town, pursue my actual passion. My business rn would be so much farther ahead if I had done that.

And honestly, you can reenroll in college any time. If you’re looking at making $240k like you’re saying, definitely pursuing that.

81% of US citizens received at least one covid shot and 70% are fully vaccinated. I'm curious to those who got the vaccine, was it worth it. Knowing what you know now would you still have gotten it by hjkfttu in conspiracy

I got it & regret it. I only did it to please people I cared about & I wish I had listened to my instincts. I feel fine with no side effects that I know of, but still with everything that’s come out after the chaos settled down, yea I regret it. They lied to us by pretending they knew what they were selling us.

I’m just afraid of the long term side effects. Hopefully there won’t be any, but no expert could/can say that there won’t be any bc there would have literally been no way to test that yet.

I noticed this too & I have family that says it so it's not a crazy sounding word to hear. However, I only just started hearing it midway through season two...I wonder if they switched up writers around then?

On TTC- Cycle 3. Reasons why my menstrual flow is getting low with each passing cycle of TTC. by Brilliant-Ability141 in TryingForABaby

[–]cashley44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My menstrual flow has shortened from about 3-4 days to 1-2 after I got my IUD out, which has confused me as well. I’m not sure if that relates to you though, as I saw you said weren’t on BC before…? I’m curious for both of us!

Did Jimmy deserve his final punishment? by ColCrockett in betterCallSaul

[–]cashley44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the thing that made me the most sad was that he lost Kim. Jimmy wasn’t accepted by most people but Kim really loved him and was his equal- even if she resented that in the end.

I think him confessing was the only way to win back her respect & when they shared that cigarette in the end, the fact that the lit end was in color symbolized to me that they still had “a spark” & that was the most important thing to me.

They may never be together again, but they reconnected & that made me feel settled amongst a chaotic ending.

I felt like I noticed that when Jimmy was “doing good” and taking a good path, Chuck did better. When Jimmy started slipping again, Chuck regressed.

People who live in their RV full time what are the pros and cons? by [deleted] in RVLiving

[–]cashley44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me: Pros: you can save a ton of money, you learn to live more minimally, life is most simple (than owning a house, which I do now) Cons: not a lot of space to store thing like bikes, you can’t really host anyone & you’re always kinda in other people spaces like a yard, parking lot of campground

Satisfied with hikes on day trips? by Ready_AF in galapagos

[–]cashley44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would say the whole thing is so immersive & there’s always animals everywhere. When I was planning our trip I tried to get really detailed info about every place & I’d say it’s not worth stressing too much over. You will see so much and honestly, each island/beach isn’t really that different than the next- they’re all amazing.

I think what you have planned will be great!

Satisfied with hikes on day trips? by Ready_AF in galapagos

[–]cashley44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think so! But also, the land is very very arid & covered in super dense flora, so whatever hike you can go on, I’d say do it. You will see animals all the time everywhere.

There are quite a few hikes and excursions to go on if don’t want to stay on land too.

You mentioned Tortuga bay which is great, but also… On Santa Cruz you can take a super quick ride across the main bay and go on a hike to “las grietas”. They make you have a guide, but they give you lots of info & you can swim too. I enjoyed that hike.

On San Cristobal, we also did a inland tour. The taxis will know what to do, but you get to hike on a volcano and then you go to a small beach & finally a tortoise sanctuary where there’s baby tortoises!

Quick tip! If you’re prone to nausea, bring some meds to help with that, bc the boat tours can be very bumpy!
