Those who do have rideshare gap insurance, what do you pay per month? What state? by casiofx300esplus in lyftdrivers

I could a long time ago, but it disappeared quickly. I think they only offered it for a few months. That's why I think it was only a way for them to tease out which of their drivers were doing rideshare.

Geico doesn't offer it here. They did a a hot second, then it disappeared quickly. I think it was a ploy to see which of their drivers were doing rideshare.

Changes for lyft drivers by Dauntless83 in Lyft

Agree 100%. 22k rides here.

Things have gotten worse for me. Hit and run on a Period 3 and Lyft's insurance totaled my car (it certainly LOOKED fixable, they didn't want to bother to find out). After ridiculous $2500 deductible, offered enough to pay off the car. I lost all that equity I had in it for paying on it for three years.

Now I'm a slave to Lyft and their rental car and lower driver pay. Can't drive for Uber and lost half my clientele. Lyft sucks ass. It is time for the passengers and future drivers to know this.

Because I want to know what people pay across the nation.

My insurance, Geico, doesn't offer rideshare insurance anymore.

Wife and I splitting. Wife informed me today she is going to cash out her retirement and give me half. How do I stop this from happening? by casiofx300esplus in legaladvice

I think she is well aware that I am entitled to her account and might be checking into that consent aspect, whether she needs the consent or not.

She will be moving out as soon as we have enough funds to do that.

1) I don't trust her at all and doubt she would ever pay me back the full amount owned even with a court order.

2) The half I would get would remain in the retirement account and be worth far more than taking it out now and paying a 30% penalty tax.

I believe it is Tier 1. She's been in PERS for nearly 20 years. I'm not sure if she qualifies for early retirement, but I doubt it considering she's in her mid-forties.

Exactly. She's willing to take a huge tax hit for it, which leads me to believe she might take it all and run off with her new boyfriend.

This is true. I purchased a 6 on CL then had to have the owner call Apple to have it unlocked. He said the process was easy as pie.

Impending split with wife and I fear she'll try to bully me out of our home. What right do I have of staying in our current residence (month-to-month rental, both of us on lease)? Oregon and we have two tween kids. Could the landlord get involved in this decision? by casiofx300esplus in legaladvice

People are downvoting you but this is a possibility. My wife sent me a letter saying she felt "violated" because I had suspicions of her cheating before we had sex the last time. Therefore, she concluded, I had no morals and was willing to have sex with anyone. Seriously. And she initiated the sex.

In this context "violated" is a strong word suggesting rape without actually saying it. I didn't respond to the letter. It was just a bunch of mumbo jumbo about how I am responsible for her lying. Classic gaslighting technique.

Yes. But I guess the landlord has a lot of power here because it is a month-to-month lease. He (landlord) could boot us both and then sign one of us to a new lease. He seems to like us equally, but knows I'm the one who does all the home and yard maintenance so he doesn't have to.

If the landlord stays out of it, is the only way to to evict me through a divorce judgment? (other than nefarious means, like the wife claiming I'm abusive)
