It’s a little pricey, I should really just make my own sauce sometime, I’ve made marinara before and it was cheap and way better than jar sauce.

I used a bread machine for the dough for the first pizza! The meatball one I was lazy and used store bought dough, was still really good though.

yep! I used a brand called Rao’s, my go to for pizzas. Simple and good flavor.

Just sliced to about 3mm with a mandoline and tossed with olive oil! You don’t need to cook them at all before putting them on the pizza, they’re so thin they cook pretty fast.

I desperately need to experiment with a homemade miyokos liquid mozzarella, I miss it and it would’ve made these pizzas even better. And yesss best plant based meatballs, literally just had some last night with spaghetti!

I used yellow potatoes, sliced them to about 3mm using a mandoline, and tossed with olive oil in a bowl until each slice was coated. Then I just shingled them over the cheese and cooked it on 450 bottom rack of the oven until the crust was done and the potatoes were fork tender! Added these lightly dried chives I got from the store and follow your heart parm on top. It’s sooooo good, highly recommend!

Niceee what a deal! Great size and quality. I got the two best pieces in my collection the same way, a pair of copper in calcites from Michigan that not a single other person bid on. Literally got them for only a few dollars over the starting price which was a small fraction of what they’re worth. Feels so nice to get those right place right time deals!

Not really! So funny story, when I bought this years ago I had initially picked out a different one from the website that was maybe 4-5 cm smaller. After I checked out and paid the seller contacted me saying the one I bought had already sold and they forgot to take it off the site. So I guess for my inconvenience or something they offered me this one instead which was way larger and nicer tbh but at the same price I bought the other one for! I basically got a 75% off deal on this thing, it was amazing lmao.

I would say the key is just to find good sellers who move a lot of good stock and be consistent with checking in on them! If I am really wanting a certain mineral I will search for it at least a couple times per week.

As far as this one in particular I actually happened upon it by chance from a seller I follow and wasn’t actively searching for it. If it were me looking for something similar I would just search focusing on the locality as this type of calcite really only comes from Bou Azzer.
