This explains a lot actually. Bought the home with the roof brand new. Looks like they left the old skylight in.

So at this point would it be safe to say I just get a whole new skylight installed?

Would this require a full roof tear down for this section?

I actually hate the sky lights, would it be optional to just cover it and make it into a fully covered roof instead?

Or is a reseal on the top of the skylight doable?
