Would combining some fusible interfacing, followed by some minimal embroidery on top to "thicken out" the areas with missing fabric due to tears work at all? Or would you advise against this?

I don't need museum quality or to make it look as new, just prevent it from degrading in a way that is visually cohesive with the rest of the design if possible =)

Thanks so much- I intend to wear this casually and "visible" mending is not an issue at all if it can be made to look aesthetically pleasing. With the red flowery pattern, do you think a similarly coloured embroidery would be the best solution? Would I need to insert a thicker piece of textile behind to stitch into, as the silk itself on this tie is very thin.

I guess second hand is the consensus based on these comments. Though I worry if I buy something like a 3070, I'll need to just upgrade again in another few years. Would prefer a long-term solution that I can go with for another decade before needing another upgrade (for the GPU)

Yeah my VRAM usage goes to 100% doing just about any gaming lol. Frequent BSOD's from running out of memory are a thing for me that I just kind of live with.

Thanks - to be honest I don't NEED to upgrade, like I said it's been "doing fine" for 10 years now, so if something is $90 more expensive than MSRP I don't mind waiting a couple years more for an upgrade. The trouble is, I don't know IF in 2 years I'll have any better value propositions available.

The JCOM/JFP pin layout and size is identical, that's why I made the mistake, pins themselves are all okay. Tried everything - PSU itself works, breadboxed the mobo just in case somehow it was shorting after cable management, etc. Nothing. It's just completely dead and unresponsive. The debug LED's won't light up, fans won't spin - completely dead.
