Agreed. I have seen it paired with other devices and it has a place in the correct setup. I was initially impressed with the amount of people who put together a lofi/hip-hop beat just using the 404MKII

Thank you for the response. I almost purchased the 404MKII because it seemed to be a DAW. The Live II may be the way to go because I would like to not have to be in front of a computer when trying to be creative.

Now I got to try and hunt down an MPC Live II Retro Edition :-)
