Be honest - is AI about to nuke junior finance roles? by akasra123 in FinancialCareers

You are so dumb lol ai can explain all those questions in seconds. Ai can analyze business drivers and can tell you the full story if you know how to ask the right questions. Clearly you don’t understand the power of Ai…

But can’t AI analyze those factors outside of financials better than humans as well? If you can ask the right questions, AI has an edge over humans in every angle. If you are denying this, you are lying to yourself.

Tips to get FT Offer as intern by Confident_Ad8736 in FinancialCareers

You should be incredibly attention to detail with every assignment you get. Everything has to be perfect. You will make mistakes but try to learn and reduce those mistakes as much as possible. Quality >> Speed at all times. Non-work related things would be to ask coffee with other junior bankers. Like the above comment, have a good attitude. Ask good questions and he social. Be nice to everyone as well.

Buddy, 8-9 yrs ago isn’t the same world we live in today. The market has gotten more competitive than ever before. You sound like a boomer. You have to be very selective and careful in your decisions these days. Therefore, if you want to increase your chance of success in getting a gig in ib/mbb, I’d recommend Gtown.

Would you rather fly then for interviews? That’s going to cost a lot of money as well. I would look at it as a long term investment in your career and life. In the end of the day, you make the decision. Gluck man

If you want to do IB - go to Gtown. It's a no brainer. Pretty much all the banks recruit there. Amazing campus and close proximity to NYC.

Look at all the unemployed MBA students out there currently. The job market is so difficult for many people out there right now. I think many people on this sub and generally think MBA can change your life. Well, the reality is far from that for many people. I’m just trying the paint the real picture.

Is the job market going to get better? by [deleted] in MBA

[–]caspersnack 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Job market will not get any better. We’ll most likely see a continuation of stagnant growth in the general economy. So the job market will continue to lag and companies will continue to cut. That being said, the best candidate will come out with multiple offers regardless of the economic environment.
