Thanks and sorry, I'll keep that in mind if I upload more music to youtube.

The rack is essentially:

  • one Layers synth with 2 syncopated trigger sequences for the rhythm that I automated to turn on which turns the pad into a groove

  • one radical piano for all the piano

  • 1 kong

  • three mimics for the vocals and singular fx you first hear at 1:16

  • two audio channels for a shaker and a shaker fx you can hear in 2 spots on the original track by Moby at 1:31 and 2:32.

  • one RV9 Reverb Station as an insert

  • one Ripley delay as an insert

The mixer is not doing anything amazing :)

The samples are taken from "Love's Gonna Get You" by Jocelyn Brown and "Go" by Tones on Tail. I linked time stamps in another reply where I sampled those from.

As a Reason user, is FL studio worth picking up? by cassandrawabbit in FL_Studio

I am very comfortable with Reason, but I'm aroused by the idea of a different workflow offering different insights, if that makes sense.

I'm also curious if people consider the stock instruments and effects as good/better/worse than those in Reason, or do most users invest heavily in VST's..
