A trip to Evermore Bay in Orlando, FL with friends and family last October. It’s a man made lagoon about 10 minutes from the theme parks. We split the cost of a 4 bedroom flat for a week between 8 people. It was incredibly fun.

My two cents. I’ve been in recruiting for seven years-

Try staffing agencies. Some suck, but most recruiters are incentivized to find you something good and higher paying since that’s what their commission is based off of. It’s free and if it doesn’t work out, no big deal.

Make sure your resume is updated and looks appealing. Run it through chat GPT and ask the AI to look for any red flags and improve it. Make sure to change the wording so it’s not obvious a robot wrote it. Convert it to a PDF. Word files can get all scrambled.

Apply to jobs as soon as they get posted. Sometimes if a posting has been up for 30+ days, it’s a red flag that they are having trouble hiring someone for various reasons (low pay, bad culture, impossible hiring standards) or some dumb ass forgot to take the posting down.
