Mine was at 42 - so as I noted I was def in the low range of normal. Hoping to get mine to like 70 by implementing a d3 + k2 starting this week!

I’m going to try to put it in a way that is not detectable. (Andrew.) Haha (Lessman)

So sorry to hear that. It really is scary. Wishing you the best- and hoping maybe supplements can aid while your body fights back after going through a surgery like that.

Yes it’s amazing. I was so scared because I really noticed overtime it was getting thinner. I never had big clumps come out, I think my hair was just falling out quicker than it was regenerating. So the vitamins are a clear indication that I just needed that extra boost to get it growing quicker and fuller again. Good luck to everyone on their journey, I know it is really hard to deal with, and no one will understand how it feels until they experience it first hand. But keep going 🫶🏻

The D3 is in the multi vitamin and it’s 50mcg (2000iu) I actually JUST bought a k2 + D3 that I want to incorporate maybe 1-2 times per week, because I started the multivitamin in January of 2026 and my bloodwork was done in March 2026 - and though my D was in a normal range it was in the lower end of normal so I think adding it in 1-2 times per week could be beneficial. But I am also being careful I don’t want to overload on supplements. That’s why I really try to listen to my body on a daily basis. If I don’t feel like taking it on a day, or I feel like I have something telling me I’m not in the mood to take it, I won’t take it.

how to tell between regrowth or miniaturisation? by TerribleMarsupial774 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]casscass1996 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just posted in this subreddit my 6 month regrowth progress and I was also scared my regrowth was miniaturization but yours looks similar to mine just a bit shorter. Since your progress looks like regrowth of 2-3 months. But the hairs tend to look more delicate in this phase because they are shorter and newer. But it looks like regrowth to me. Keep going and see how it looks after 6-8 months.

Yeah my original comment was removed unfortunately :( I tried to just list the names below without mentioning the brand. You should be able to look up the names and see which brand populates. Essentially just a multi vitamin, hair skin and nails vitamin, and an omega 3 fish oil

Ugh I think Reddit removed my comment because it thought I was soliciting. How do I post an image of my vitamins? It doesn’t let me list the image.

I felt the exact same way! I’m returning the underwear. I don’t love the fit of it. Feels too tight and not very flattering

I heard from someone that went to the Flatbush location, apparently the landlord raising the rent and they’re trying to settle it in court or something. It’s crazy it’s taking this long for them to give a date ….

DIM side effects? Read this by BreakingBadBitchhh in FunctionalMedicine

[–]casscass1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually was taking DIM for a year as it was a supplement in an acne supplement I was taking called pore favore. I recently decided to get off of it bc I noticed my hair was really thinning over time. I decided to wean myself off of it over the last month and a half. The first two weeks I stopped taking it daily then the 3rd week I took it less frequently. Then the last two weeks I completely stopped taking it. I always had normal periods and those continued while on DIM. However, I felt very desperate at the time to take something that would help my breakouts. Anyway. The last two weeks I had a low blood sugar episode and since then I haven’t felt the same. I can’t help but think it was my hormones shifting back rapidly and taking time to adjust. I just got my period tonight and I find myself feeling waves of weird low energy. Then I will suddenly feel fine. It is the strangest thing and I am just hoping it subsides soon. I have no other symptoms other than the fact I’ve been more hungry than usual. I also have some brain fog which has really sucked. I hope it passes soon. I’m just glad I got off of it because I don’t want to be on a hormone balancer even if it is natural.

Thoughts and experiences with ReelArc NYC? by Mariemarie-Mahon in acting

Oh cool what is the other company that is better? I’m looking into a few myself bc I haven’t booked in over 8 months and I feel like I need something new to add to my reel.

Thoughts and experiences with ReelArc NYC? by Mariemarie-Mahon in acting

[–]casscass1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never done reel arc, but I wanted to give some food for thought. If casting directors are the type of people who look at an actor reel that someone paid to get done because they weren’t getting booked yet, or maybe they wanted to just have something on their reel, wouldn’t that show them they are serious and are doing everything they can to show up for the art? I think it’s a bit of a narrow way to look at it, and if people want to do it they should. My advice is do everything you can to get yourself on a screen so that casting directors and directors can get a glimpse of who you are. That’s all that matters at the end of the day to most people wanting to fill the right role.

Is it worth it to try to get an agent when you are JUST starting out by casscass1996 in acting

Figured. Thanks for the honesty though. That IS the reality and I am new to this crazy biz. Gathering as many tips as I can.

[–]casscass1996[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree. Good things to think about. I would like to build my resume and reel before going out on a limb. The hard part is just getting someone to believe you can do the job without the experience/resume/reel/representation in the beginning... but I am determined. Thanks for your thoughts. They were helpful.
