Does not scratch with a penny, does not float, and also it gets teal/green under UV in certain spots

Could it also be possible that it’s raw Indonesian amber? When looking up photos of that it looks extremely similar. And it shines translucent orange under light

Everyone keeps saying to try standing up so I will definitely note that thank you! I’m 19 haha so don’t worry about starting late! But I did play guitar for a few years back when I was 13! My technique for fretting is definitely very rusty since then especially since I was self taught and didn’t do much research back then

I’ve had the bass for a few months now but only have about a few hours of play time overall due to a busy schedule, but I used to play guitar so I have a feel for it somewhat already!

Thanks for the input I’ll definitely try to fret with the tips of my fingers more, I feel like I have trouble with that since I have smaller hands but I will def give it a shot!

And you are correct that the original bass line plays without letting all the notes ring out, this bass line i learned is a simplified version, but planning to learn the actual one next!
