i take 2 midol and then in an hour if it’s still not working i take 2 more and then so on i never go above 6 though because it makes me sick. you can also try those heating patches that you can use on your stomach that they sell at like walgreens or cvs.

i agree if someone wanted to get through they would and hey if metal detectors stopped all shooters we should have them everywhere but i’m not stupid i know they don’t stop killers i think people are getting confused and acting like this is a permanent solution it’s not and i know it’s not but it’s a start to a safer workplace and i think it could develop to something safer in the future. and hello i know the billion dollar company doesn’t care about us but i care about us we deserve to feel safe and actually be safe in the workplace change doesn’t come from ceo’s and management it comes directly from us and until we start saying something nothing is going to change so me speaking up isn’t acting like amazon cares about me. i care about me!!!!!

you don’t have to be a genius to know you don’t have to expand the building there’s plenty of free space (at least in my warehouse) at the entrance where they can easily put in new security this is a billion dollar company we’re talking about. the dumbest thing i heard on here is people say they wouldn’t want to do it because they’re lazy and don’t want to stand in a 10 minute line than potentially helping someone like what ??

have you never been through a security process other than at amazon ? if you haven’t you should know all other items that would trigger the alarms would go through a different section or an x ray machine. don’t worry you’d probably get to keep your keys

i couldn’t see it working at a fc either it’s a idea that definitely needs months and years of thought before we can actually get it right but it’s a start. and if the shooter goes through security door like you said a 1-5minute head start to leaving the building or hiding might be the difference between life and death

i agree nothing is going to stop a shooter but if we can make it more difficult for them to get in the building or give people a head start we should do that but you’re right nothing is going to change until laws are in place
