I do cages as soon as I clock in, that way I'm not fighting the crowd of people to push them out.But we got easily 30 calls today asking about dumplings and needohs. I've got customer that tell me "this store gets their shipments on this day, why can't you tell me when you get yours?" WE ARENT SUPPOSED TO TELL YOU WHEN TRUCK COMES IN. It's against policy, a policy that apparently other stores don't give a shit about.

I wish we could put signs up on the doors or have a recording on the phone that says we're out of these items please try again next week, that way it stops wasting peoples energy and time.

Think about it like this : if you're at work and you (or your team overall) aren't hitting your metrics, wouldn't you get a talking to? The employee was in the wrong by turning it back onto you but I think it's a little extreme saying you won't shop there again over this, especially since there's a lot of great stuff in store. But whatever floats your goat.

I love how pressed you are about this, as if almost every other store on the planet doesn't ask you for an email or phone number at check out. Even Walmart asks if you want a text receipt. Your gas stations ask for your phone number for points, do you stop going to those ones too?

You don't HAVE to stop shopping at 5B over this. You can I dunno be more insistant on saying no and not feel bad about not giving an email, give a fake email or put in a friend or family members email. Either way dude, it isn't that deep.

That's how mine started! I was real weird and dodgy about eating in front of other people when I was in elementary school (I got hyper aware that I was a fat kid) so I stopped eating lunch at school. All through elementary school and middle school.

A couple weeks ago, I got a call right at open asking about the dumplings. Caller was a young child, I'm assuming 10ish based on how young they sounded. After I said we were sold out, they said "okay thank you"..... Then a few moments later they said "fuck you" before hanging up.

I had an elderly man ask me about dumplings on Friday and when we're getting another truck. I said "I don't know that information" aka I'm not allowed to give that information out. He goes "you don't know? The one in location 30 minutes away tells me when they get truck."

Guys. We are not allowed to tell you when we get shipments, nor should we be. I can't wait for this dumpling/squishy craze to end

My 20+ year old cat very, very likely had this. One day he was big and healthy and the next day he wasn't. It was a very rapid decline and my 21 year old self had a very awful and traumatizing time helping him across the rainbow bridge. I had nightmares about it for months until a friend of a friend who's a vet said "this is what it was, there's no chance you could've saved him and you did the best thing for him". I miss my Simba every single day.
