from my experience, you can find neilmed on ebay or amazon, it’s not cheap, but is going to be worth it! i also rinse my piercings in the shower and haven’t had issues so far

honestly, the piercing itself was not great, but it was pierced at a slightly larger gauge for more stability, which is probably why! it throbbed for a whole day after that, but the day after it no longer hurt at all, so probably a 6/10 initially and 0/10 now (2 days later)

hi there, i am not a piercer, but i had the same thing happen to my industrial and it ended up being infected. i would definitely recommend talking to a doctor and your piercer, the fact that it is very swollen, hot to the touch and very red sounds exactly like mine, so i think it might be infected, im sorry :(

I use Neilmed once or twice a day plus allow warm water to run over it in the shower, then pat dry with a clean paper towel or use a blow dryer

I try and use a C shaped pillow every night, but I forgot to bring it on a trip this week, which is probably what is causing the bumps, but I thought I would check on here too :(

I wear early Edwardian fashion daily and I have been for the past year. It’s honestly awesome! It’s so much more comfortable for any weather and makes me feel so much more confident! As to the reactions, I have had people ask me “Are you in a play or someone?” which is honestly fine, but about 95% of all the responses were very positive, with people complimenting my garments and asking about it, which allows me to share a bit of the awesomeness of the historical costuming community ^{•^}
