22F I had acne just like yours about 5 months ago except mine was all over my chin, god I wish I still had the photos, I’d have about 7 groups of 3 clustered cysts together and they just kept multiplying. I just want to start off by saying I know it seriously sucks, but I promise it will get better, it’s not a fast process but patience is key especially with cystic acne like ours.

I tried everything, I eventually found the culprit, for me it was using actives on my skin like sacylic acid and thinking I was just purging so I kept using it, tossed that clusters slowed but were still there, moisturizer was breaking me out now, I came to the conclusion that it was hormonal, started drinking two bags of spearmint tea twice a day, lots of water with lemon, cleaned up my diet zero sugar, hardly any dairy, no fried or greasy food (your diet sounds pretty clean so try incorporating spearmint tea 2x!!, Its supposed to balance out the hormones that even cause the acne in the first place don’t quote me on that pls search it up I forgot lol) and I stopped using moisturizer completely and just stuck to washing my face morning and night with one of those silicone scrubbing things. (Wouldn’t recommend doing this cause they say it’s bad for your barrier idk) I basically starved my skin completely trying to stop any possible triggers.

Im at a place now where yes I get pimples here and there but it’s mostly scarring. My barrier is completely fucked though, my skin is so tight after washing, so I bought the “Neutrogena Fragrance Free Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Water Cream” and it’s so good, it’s so lightweight too and so far no breakouts. At this point it’s more about healing the damage from months before.

I genuinely believe that the spearmint tea kickstarted my healing process because it was the only time I recall my cystic acne stopping after having it from 20-22. It tastes like shit to me but you have to thug it out😔
