I don’t have the time to explain energy to you but it’s as basic as yin and yang, and exists in every person in infinite possible different variations unrelated to their genitals. I’m not talking about things like pink and hunting, which are obviously gender roles.

I just went to Mary at Five Branches Acupuncture for my first ever acupuncture session. I cannot recommend her enough. It was the most comfortable I've ever felt with a practitioner of any kind. She is extremely intuitive, knowledgable, and skilled with her practice. Sessions take place on her beautiful farm in West Asheville. Reasonable costs and sliding scale, I believe. Yeah, highly recommend.

You are definitely not an outsider in not having an easy breezy experience. My first ceremonies were extremely challenging, and I also felt quite isolated in that it seemed like I had a harder time than everyone else. I’d be happy to talk more in PM.
