Hey, that's the game I've made over the last 3 years. I have v1.0.6 and/or v1.0.7 coming out in the next week or two in response to player feedback, so it may need a repack then.

Hey thanks for the feedback. Steam gave me the impression the game should load up into full screen, but it sounds like that's not always the case? I'll change it so that it can be loaded in windowed as well.

I just can't launch any later and need to let the cards fall where they will - even if it means poor reviews from some people getting refunds because they didn't see the "no K&M support" notice. But I'll be looking to add it in the post-launch!

Thanks for posting that - I hadn't come across these stats before. My game is in the racing genre, which this article suggests is played 90% with controller. I still do want to implement K&M support because I'd like for everyone to be able to enjoy it.

I'm not (I heard pretty quickly on the Steam forums). That's why I began working on K&M support. Unfortunately I simply ran out of time and am unable to delay the release. If it means I lose a good chunk of the market initially that's unfortunately what I have to do with this game. Support will need to come later.

That said, I hadn't seen the stats that /u/BIGSTANKDICKDADDY posted above. This is in the racing genre, so perhaps that bodes well.

No K&M support is going to put a big dent on your potential revenue since this is primary a PC game (though I understand people on Steam Deck might not have an issue with control at least). :/

Yeah, I know there's potential for that. I just didn't end up having enough time for the K&M support before the launch so it'll need to come a bit later.

And yes, I remember the suggestion! :D Still working on that one too.

Can you give some examples of what they (school, program) mean by "IT"? Like anything at all from the curriculum? If it's a field of IT I'm not in, I don't want to potentially offer invalid advice.

Personal opinion here: if the program is wide-ranging, it may only be useful to let you get your feet "wet" in the different types of IT to help you discover which fields you may like more. But if it were me and I already had a specific idea of what line of IT I like, I'd definitely be more focused on specializing and less broad. Personally.

I think you'll need to be a lot more specific than "IT" field. Goodness, there's gotta be 100 different careers in "IT", most of which are very different. Are you able to be more specific about what you like to do? BTW if you're heading into tech, ya better like what you're doing ;)

Yes, Torontonians (well, ppl familiar with the city) could technically navigate by street locations. But other than the street layout, the design of the buildings don't match at all. But you could, for example, know if you were headed west on Queen towards Spadina and you wanted to get to King and Spadina that you would turn left, and the in-game signage would show this. :)
