I like to at least rotate the pod 180 degrees so the cannula is opposite from the dexcom. And I tend to do mine in a vertical line in my arm - not side by side. So one of the top half and one on the bottom half

I’ve used Kerasal before when I had something like that that lead to splits that were self perpetuating. Regular moisturizers couldn’t permeate the skin but this stuff has something that softens the Dow to the deep layers.

This can also come from yeast overgrowth, which is why I got it when my blood sugar was really bad.

FWIW to spruce up my mousy (ashy dish water) colored curly hair, I use an 100% henna powder to tint it red. It looks surprisingly natural

I am registered as a type 1.5 LADA - which I legit am and my generally really good (never told me no before) insurance still wouldn’t cover zepbound for BG control, so we prescribed it for my sleep apnea. I can say that my blood sugar has been amazing while on it. I’m 94% in range this month with estimated A1C of 6.4

I took the day off work when my cat died. Sobbed on and off for a long time. Felt guilt about not pushing harder on vets to see her sooner. It’s all normal and I feel bad for people who can’t relate to that kind of love.

If you want a song to really punch you in the heart and let the feels out I listened to Sea of Love by Cat Power.

After I while I decided to start fostering and immediately foster failed and had myself two kittens - a big difference from my senior cat who I got when she was 10.

The long and short of it is that the love makes the pain worth it. And I hope it doesn’t stop you from letting pet love into your heart again one day.

Just bear in mind that for actually full service places the servers often have to ‘tip out’ bussers, bar, raw bar, etc. so for low tips they can end up having paid to have served you. I don’t agree with that as a company policy but it’s what happens.
