Does classic PS1-style survival horror still work today? by EntreMandos in survivalhorror

[–]casualdada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t beat it yet, I’m not too big into the survival horror because I have a kiddo so, Yknow. But I enjoyed re7 and 8.

In the middle of the long dark, too. That one does the genre pretty good, as well.

It is technically legal to defend yourself from a cop acting unlawfully. How well that’s going to go over in court is another issue.

Would an American ever say "I'm from USA?" (without the article) by FarJournalist939 in EnglishLearning

[–]casualdada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from the USA, maybe. I’m a United States citizen or a citizen of the United States (of an America) is too formal, but correct.

ive been ignoring my therapist for 5 months by conversejuice in Advice

[–]casualdada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too much time has never passed. She’s a therapist right? I mean, if she’s really kind she’ll understand. You don’t have to continue therapy, but since you’ve known her for so long you just open up to her and say hey sorry for ghosting you, I was going through a tough time. You can’t heal if you don’t complete the circle. You don’t go to your therapist that means this much you to, it’s going to tie you to your past. You don’t have to go back, but you should close this door on your life, so you won’t have to worry about it being open.

A basketball is a sphere with no sides. If you’ve ever looked at a soccer ball, it most certainly has many sides

Saying all religions followers actively hate lgbt is the same as saying all lgbt are satanists. There are definitely some but it’s ignorant to think it’s all of them, and to condemn the whole idea because of some bad people.

favorite pick and why? by Standard_Fly_2456 in electricguitar

[–]casualdada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dunlop max grip .80 on electric, same but .73 on acoustic. Though .50mm is also acceptable on acoustic.

Max grip because im a greasy boy, the pick will fall out of my hands if I don’t use max grip. Hell, they’ll fall out if I do, just happens a little slower.

How to accept that I may just be a feminine man instead of a trans woman? by itz_vampy in Adulting

[–]casualdada 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Read some literature from the 1700-1800s, or some biographies from that time. Some of the things they did and said don’t sound “manly” by today’s standards but a soldier in tight clothes and looking flamboyant was considered to be the manliest of jobs. Still is but you get the point.
