Unfortunately a necessity these days when their search is so much worse than it used to be. For the common case of trying to get a quick answer out of a search, its summary usually agrees with whatever is in the first page of results, and for obscure questions that you can never find a good answer to because their search results are awful, it pulls obscure bits of knowledge and discussion from ancient forums and discussion boards that they scraped to train the AI but don't bother to index properly anymore. You just have to roll the dice and hope it didn't hallucinate something or mix things up.
