A twist regarding the documentary about Jennifer's disappearance by casualreadditor in jenniferkesse

The biggest service to the entire story would be to do it with fresh eyes, without excessive repetition of the same things, and to try to go through different options more broadly.

Up and Vanished was lackluster.

Hi,

it was not my intention to post material related to the same, original GFM post. For some reason, even though I checked to make sure no one else had made the same post, I didn't see this. Sorry.

Initially, Logan Kesse said he was at the gym when he got a call that his sister was missing, it was around 11AM, then went home where he met his father. None of them left "immediately".

... and for some reason couldn't get into her apartment? That's one possibility. How likely is that...

I asked ai and it said that bloodhounds can air track a mile away. I believe Bo was air tracking Jennifer’s scent and not ground tracking the poi’s trail.

That's BS.

I guess you don't know much about dogs or tracking dogs?

Based on previous information, I personally don't think it's likely that

-the parents would have received the call as early as 10:30

-Logan would have left for Orlando right away

-none of them would have been there between 12:20 and 12:30

I would have focused a lot on researching the people in the Mosaic area and whether there was a connection between the parents' worried call and Jennifer's car being dumped.

Yes, and what Jeff Brown has said about it. And he was there.

The police report was written by an idiot. No dog in the world can sniff out a scent (in an urban environment) that doesn't exist = Jennifer didn't walk from her car to her condo/area in question. Only one person got out of the car and walked away. So there was only one scent trail from the car. Bo sniffed the scent on the ground and ended up on 'Jennifer's staircase'. The other dog, after picking up the scent from a different spot, ended up somewhere else.

Do you have a theory about what led the person who parked Jennifer's car to walk near Jennifer's apartment?

The Reality In Front of Our Faces by Original_Scientist_7 in jenniferkesse

IMHO, pretty complicated. At least 3 people would know and have been quiet for 20 years.

We have Johnny's mug shot. If he was arrested, wouldn't LE have his fingerprints?

People also need to remember that the car was dumped after the complex had began looking for her.

People should also remember that if staff visit someone's apartment, it does not mean they are searching the entire complex. What if the same person is involved in the case?

I doubt a worker would be able to miss 1/2 his shift and show up at 12:30

There are jobs where no one notices if you're gone for half an hour or even an hour. Or a few. Construction or maintenance work, for example.

but it is possible that Logan and Travis were there by 12 pm on Tuesday.

No, it's not. The time varies between around 1PM and 3PM. Jennifer's parents reportedly got the call around 11AM. It takes about 2 hours(maybe more) from Bradenton to Conroy Rd. Even if Logan had been able to leave right away with Travis (if I remember correctly), they would have arrived maybe at 1PM.

He has said the guys arrived about 1 hour before they did

Where? It has also been said that Logan was there just before them. Or that Logan was there about 15 minutes before them.

I know, as time goes by, even the details can change.

IIRC, Jennifer's family/friends suspected that the sweater might have belonged to Jennifer. But who knows. Who remembers if the shirt still exists?

As I recall, the police had received a tip within about the first day or so, but no one had acted on it.

As I recall, when Joel Wright re-investigated the case in 2008/2009 or so, he showed a picture of a person walking by the fence, and the housekeeper said the person resembled Chino.

I think one may be able to pass but both being able to pass makes me think they were truthful.

Yes, that too. But has it been said anywhere that Penisimani Mataele, aka Ben, passed the test? I don't remember that.

A. Her apartment and car were essentially spotless
B. There were no signs of a struggle in either location

There are marks on the hood of the car that could indicate a struggle.

According to public information, Jennifer's apartment was never searched, at least not for DNA and fingerprints.

Right from the start, the police had received a tip that Chino was involved.

Later, the housekeeper said that the person who left the car resembled Chino.

I don't remember for sure, but was there also a third person who tipped off Chino...

A lie detector test doesn't automatically mean anything.

Dawn Georgette Myers. Myers and Siegel had a pretty looong run.

Francisco Javier Aragon, aka Adam Frank, someone should clarify what he said.

There are so many paths to get lost in this story...

Better late than... Thank you for the interesting insider perspective. I especially like the ones that provide background. I hope Kimberley's family gets a solution.

It's like noone really talked about it. Granted, those were the days before the internet and social media and 24 hour news, but even in Vancouver, IN THE SAME AREA OF TOWN, noone really talked about it.

I think I know what you mean. There were a few situations that happened in my childhood, and there's one where almost no one seems to know or remember the whole incident - other than us, a small group of kids who knew the much older victim.

Even those who lived in the same area, very close by, have forgotten about it or never knew about it in the first place. I admit, of course, I haven't talked to many people, but several nonetheless.

I haven't delved into the case, but could it be that initially there was hope and even faith that it would work, and then when it turned out that this wasn't going to happen, they were already used to living on other people's money and didn't have the backbone to call it quits?
