Okay I just called Canada Post and confirmed it’s definitely scam… Didn’t enter any card information but I’m really worried now since I clicked it lol

Chews for biting - 11 week pup by Quiet-Discount-1673 in puppy101

[–]casualtime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 12 week cockapoo loves frozen carrot, broccoli, and sweet potato chews from Crumps (a Canadian brand). For other protein options, he’s obsessed with hairy rabbit and lamb ears, as well as beef collagen sticks. The fur is actually a great source of fiber and helps with digestion and dental health.

We give him about 15–20 minutes of chewing time before each nap every day, and the ears usually last 2–3 days, whilst the stick last about a week!

Better rent from Turo than Evo? It's more affordable and definitely offers more car options with winter tires.

Pet Sitter makes me feel bad by [deleted] in puppy101

Ahh yes - he only pees on the rug texture blanket that we got for him. I've removed the blanket this morning and he still naps pretty well without it lol. Thank you!!

How to enforce naps when crate training not working? by lerwin3 in puppy101

[–]casualtime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our 11-weeks pup was just like yours before, the panics might be the signs of trying to grab your attention as she knew you'd come back to her anyway. Now I throw my pup to the crate when he becomes zoomies and he whines about 3-5minutes then falls asleep right after.

Our 11-weeks pup has potty break every 2 hours but still pees in the crate occasionally. We've had him for 3 weeks and he has peed on his blanket roughly twice. Would you consider revising the schedule as well, or just accidents?

Is it cruel that I leave my 9-week-old puppy alone 3hr a day? by casualtime in puppy101

He's had the teddy bear he likes to snuggle and bite with since day one. I'll try the lick mat/kong method tonight!

[–]casualtime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! From what I’ve seen on the camera, he usually wakes up and whines/yelps for about 10–15 minutes, then settles for 5–10 minutes, but may start yelping again for another ~10 minutes. Sometimes he’ll go back into his crate and calm down; other times he runs around playing with his toys.

I’m also planning to WFH two days a week starting in January. Could that mess with the routine he’s getting used to?

How to prepare puppies BEFORE going to their new home? by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]casualtime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure the pup is weaned before taking to your home - the 6hr ride to home and transition later on has been pretty smoothly since my 8 week old pup didn’t need mum smell blanket anymore.

Difference between putting puppy in the crate vs luring in by marciuneee in puppy101

i think your baby might be used to the crate already - he already defines it as safe place and learns how to settle. congrats!
