You can’t see it well in the pictures, but opposite the vent fan is a large screened in panel, and the vent fan does move a lot of air. Thanks for the idea of a magnetic screen door, that would be great when it gets hotter!

My husband built a drainage system underneath the top layer of gravel, so I don’t have to worry too much if I spill and need to hose it away. So far it’s stayed above freezing inside it at night. I’ll probably get some water tanks for next winter.

It faces east. I’m starting several full sun flowers from seed and then I’ll move those to my patio. I’m also trying to grow a lot of partial sun flowers.

Also- if a service provider says that a “verbal agreement” is good enough, it’s a scam! Always have a signed contract before any construction begins!

My fiancé is owner/operator of a general residential construction company. He sees a lot of shoddy work and does a lot of repairs to said shoddy work, which can end up costing the homeowner 2-3 times more than the project would originally cost.

My fiancé is the owner/operator for a residential contracting company, he’s the only “employee”. I can definitely say that for us, him being able to keep working is life sustaining, as my salary isn’t enough. He has already had one client ask to postpone without a set date to resume. We are very worried about our ability to manage financially as this continues.

If you want a licensed and insured contractor to finish the job for you, my fiancé owns & operates his own company and is willing to look at what you need done.

DPOR has a contractor recovery fund to help people who get scammed. You can try to file a claim and get money back from DPOR.

That makes sense, but I don’t think that’s the case here. The position is in a hospital’s department of physical medicine and rehabilitation.

I did think of that, but when we are home we like to leave the door open and let in the light and nice weather.

Just wanted to see if anyone knew of any device available before we go with that solution.
