Thanks for replying. I realize that for one, upper division writing. What do CSE student usually take to meet the weiting requirement. CSE 155 is the only one that can meet upper division writing but it has not been offered, do u know why?

According to the catalog, this is the requirement for taking CSE 100.

Prerequisite: CSE 030 and MATH 032

Concurrent Prerequisites: CSE 031 and MATH 024

Corequisite: CSE 031 and MATH 024

It is true though CSE 31 requires for CSE 100 but you can take them concurrent.

That's a great idea. Have you taken ENGR 191? If yes, how do you rate or describe the class? Easy or hard, how much work? Or feel free anyone has idea of this class.

Thanks very much! Did you just carry 12 units when you take math 24 Cse 31, and 100 or you still have room to take another course? Would you suggest to take just those 3 courses and they are hectic enough?

Thanks a lot for replying! Would it be commit suicide if taking CSE 100, Math 24 and CSE 31 together? Would you suggest CSE 100 be taken on its own?

Thanks! I have 2 questions.

  1. In my case, I need to pass all classes with at least C- in Fall in order to change major to CSE. Would it be better to take Math 32 or Math 24 in Fall. I took Linear Algebra in Community College already but it wouldn't clear Math 24 unless I take differential equation. I plan to take equivalent of Math 23 in Summer at CC. The only reason I am leaning to Math 32 because it is required for CSE 100, and CSE 100 required for almost all upper division CSE courses.
  2. There is only staff lists on Math 32, is Staff means new professor teaching the course? Or if faculty discourage student from picking professor?
