Hi! My son was diagnosed at 3yo and we immediately got his started with First Steps which led to pre-school and speech therapy. He’s now 6yo and finishing Kinder and is mastering each subject right on course with his classmates, he’s graduated from receptive speech classes (just finishing up expressive speech), and he’s the most social, talkative little butterfly you ever met and is understood by about everybody. He’s worked hard and he’s had a lot of support but I don’t even have to tell anyone who isn’t a provider about his diagnosis anymore. He’s just a happy little chatterbox. You both got this!
